Russell and Tanya had been together for twenty years but he has never wanted to marry. They had children and built a home, and each leap year she would propose to him, and each time he refused. Then in 2020, he said yes.
For Tanya it was her dream come true. The next day she marched him to the jewellery shop to make sure he bought a ring to confirm it.

Her hair was beautiful. However, she took so long getting the bridesmaids into their dresses that the Registrar phoned to say that if she didn’t arrive in fifteen minutes, the wedding would not take place. They raced to Charlton house and got there just in time.

The wedding ceremony was in beautiful Charlton House. After twenty years of not wanting to be married, when he finally said “I do” Russell’s eyes filled with tears. That set Tanya off and the whole room was emotional.
We then did some family group shots outside.

Then a romantic couple photoshoot were in the Secret Garden, now named the Amnesty International Peace Garden.

They booked an ice cream van for the whole afternoon and make herself and Russell the ice cream makers, serving 99s to the children and adults alike.
