The Theme
Our colour themes where Cream and Champagne, which we feel also really suited the Venue. Our wedding flowers were created by Flowers and Sparkle, we had seen a few weddings they had worked on and the quality was always beautiful. For my bridal bouquet, I chose white Hand tied Ivory Garden Roses, Mondial Roses, White Hydrangea & Gypsophila. They also created the bridesmaid and flower girls button holes, garlands for the top table and fire place, 2 beautiful blossom trees, and my husband also used them for gifts to our guests. We also used Flowers and Sparkle for all our Wedding Stationery.
The décor for our Wedding was done by Bow Hire. They provided us with ceiling and wall drapery, candelabra centre pieces, chair covers, sashes, table runners, decorative trees, 2 large candelabras, top table swaging and fairy lights.
The Venue
Our Wedding Venue was Westerham Golf Club. We chose this Venus as it has beautiful views and suiting our colour theme of cream and champagne. It was the prefect indoor venue with cosy fire places. Throughout our wedding the team were excellent and so helpful, even when we had to change the menu due to some people’s food choices, like their dislike for mushrooms. They helped to calm my nerves the day before by offering their assistance when taking some items to the Venue. Overall, the staff, venue itself, and the food was all outstanding, and I have family members who have eaten with the royals and even they spoke highly of the food and service! We choice this venue so our wedding could be an intimate cosy and beautiful day and it exceeded all of our hopes and dreams.
The Fashion
My Mum and Aunty came with me to get my dress from Serenity Brides. The dress I chose was the style that I had always dreamed of but thought it wouldn’t suit and when I tried it on, it was the reaction from my Mum and Aunty that secured the deal. I needed to have my dress altered, and my mum paid extra at the stop for the alterations package that they offered, which included 3 fittings with the seamstress. The whole experience from finding my dress until my big day was stressful but amazing, and I even kept my dress on for the whole day. Make up by Danni was AMAZING she made myself, my 3 bridesmaids, mother and Nan look beautiful and so relaxed. I would also like to mention Beckis Bridal Hair, who did a wonderful job on styling my hair for the wedding.
The Ceremony
The ceremony was just beautiful. The photographer for our special day was Blushing Bride Photography. To make sure we got those extra shots, she also bought her son along, who was also a photographer.
The Reception
Our custom cake was created by The Art of Cakes. We chose four different flavours, sponge with raspberry jam and cream, chocolate fudge, carrot cake and lemon curd. For our evening entertainment we chose Phunky Discos and their services were just perfect. We had our first dance to Ed Sheeran’s how would you feel.
