When Chris and Sam first got in touch with me about their summer wedding in Thanet, I was so thrilled; I’ve known Chris for absolutely years; and they were planning the most romantic and relaxed wedding with a church ceremony, a photo booth and even a DONUT Cake. Chris and Sam are the sweetest people and I really couldn’t wait to capture their magical day!

Getting Ready

I rocked up at Sam’s Parents Pub, where the bride and her family were getting ready together, and it was super organised, because Sam was super SUPER organised – I mean a schedule complete with clipboard and pen was on the bar; keeping everyone on track. Sam wore a stunning dress and Chris wore a dapper suit and they looked so perfect. Sam arrived in style at the church in a white London taxi.

Getting Hitched

The Wedding took place at Salmestone Grange and was an intimate church ceremony. They had some beautiful readings which brought pretty much everyone to tears. After the ceremony they had a dramatic first kiss, and then the happy couple were showered with confetti outside. Sam & Chris opted to make their own confetti – heading to their florist and asking for their nearly dead flowers!

The Party

The wedding reception took place at Botany Bay Hotel, which they’d decorated with a stunning burgundy theme. It was so personal.

During the reception they had a candy cart, which went down a storm. Steven at Exclusive Sounds kept the dance floor rocking. For their First Dance, Chris sang to James Arthur’s All of Me, and it was absolutely beautiful. After the first dance Sam fooled the crowd with a dance for her dad – Simon Says, then everyone hit the dance floor and the party got started.
