Firstly, Tell Us About Yourself

Hi guys, my name is Natalie and I’m the owner and creator of Sida Says. I did my degree in photography then went on to work in fashion makeup for nearly ten years working for the likes of Max Mara, Harper’s Bazaar, Tatler and The Telegraph and eventually opened my own line of professional brushes selling to pro artists and the likes of Pinewood Studios. A big move out to Kent, fully rural life and two small children later I spend, life is even more hectic than ever.

Tell Us About Sida Says

Here at Sida Says I make handmade beautiful tutus and tulle skirts perfect for bridesmaids, fully customisable to whatever length or waist size you require. I also sell handmade fairy wands and children’s crowns.

When did you start Sida Says, how and why?

I have always loved everything girly and always expected to have a little girl to make pretty and sparkly things for but when that didn’t happen I was suddenly taken aback. Surrounded by two wonderful little boys but who just wanted to crash and smash I was looking to do something for me and that started out as making a few fairy wands and then a tutu, just because I wanted to and I thought they would be pretty. It wasn’t until friends started to ask to buy various wands etc and when I would start selling my creations that I actually thought, maybe this could be something and Sida Says was born.

All my products are made by hand and tutus are made using a traditional knotting method using double layer of tulle to ensure they are super fluffy.

What is your favourite Product?

The Elizabeth Full Length Tutu – I love this tutu it genuinely makes me so happy to make these. They are so beautiful and super girly.

What is your most popular?

The Arabella Knee Length Tutu – A knee length beautifully puffy tutu made with handmade with hundreds of yards of tulle

How many people work with you?

At the moment it is just me, but I think that will change relatively soon as business is going well.
