Firstly, Tell Us About Yourself

Apart from being a full time wedding cake maker, I am mum to 3 children and 2 cats as well as partner to Simon. I live and breathe cakes, which really take up most of my time when I’m not being “mum”. I do love the odd glass of wine or 2, and Cadbury Chocolate and a great box set to watch with a cuppa and whilst I work on beautiful cakes. I made my first cake in June 1992 for my mum, and have been working as a cake maker full time since 2012. Before that I was a Biochemist! I love my job, for me life doesn’t get much better!

Tell Us About Iced Images Cakes

At Iced Images cakes we offer beautiful bespoke wedding cakes from the simply elegant to the cake whackiest designs. We also make naked cakes, semi naked and buttercream cakes. Iced Images are able to provide personalised wedding cake toppers and sugar flowers to adorn your beautiful cake if required. Delivery and set up of your cake is available free within 10 miles of our studio and for a small charge beyond there. Cake consultations and tastings are also available and highly recommended to discuss your wedding cake ideas in a relaxed informal atmosphere. Cake stand hire is also included in the price of your cake should you require it. Winter discounts ate available for weddings between 1st November and 31st March

Tell us about your Products or Services

All products are made from edible materials. Our cake bases are moist and soft, covered in ganache before icing. Our buttercream is to die for, and tastes great even if we do say so ourselves. For modelling and sugar flowers we use gum paste icing which sets hard but is edible and food safe for your cake.

What is your favourite?

I love making sugar flowers and models for cake toppers.

What is your most popular?

Definitely wedding cakes with a very personal feel about them. Where the couple want to add anything from a tiny part of their lives such as a pet peeking out from under the icing, to a full Glastonbury themed cake as this is the couples most favourite festival for example

How many people work with you?

Just me!

Have you collaborated with any other Kent Wedding Suppliers or Venues?

Yes on a number of occasions. My most recent one was last year for an out door venue where I made a dream catcher cake for a photo shoot and by chance my daughter got to model as a bride!
