Hello, my name is James, I’m a 27 year old DJ from Kent. I come from a entertainment background, having worked in Theatre for over 5 years, I know how to put on a show! I have a lovely fiancée called Helen who helps me with the business too. We live in Faversham and love to spend our free time in the outdoors, exploring or with our Horse, Panache. We both enjoy cooking and experiencing different tastes from around the world. We have a Puppy called Lottie and a cat called Barney and they are our little babies!

We’re engaged ourselves so we’re both loving the planning stage just as much as everyone else, it can be stressful at times but we do it for the love!

DJW DISCOS is the new name for Professional Wedding DJ’s in Kent. Focusing on ease of booking, quality and value, we provide our services for all kinds of events including birthdays, engagements weddings, and any other occasion you can think of. We pride ourselves on providing a hassle-free service, helping you to concentrate on sorting out the other aspects of your event.

We are based in the lovely market town of Faversham and cover most of Kent.

When did you start DJW DISCOS, how and why?

DJW DISCOS is the outcome of a school partnership with my very good friend, Jack. We both studied drama at school in 2011 and he introduced me to DJing. Safe to say from there my passion grew and grew and in 2012, DJW DISCOS was born. Since then, I’ve invested a lot of time and money into this business and nearly 10 years on, we are very much cemented in the Kent Wedding Scene.

What Products or Services do you offer?

We offer all kinds of services, including DJ set ups, Photo Booths, Love Letters, LED Dancefloors, uplighting and much more! Basically, if you want it, we can do it.

We design our packages with three things in mind. Value, Quality and Cost. This allows us to offer a package to suit all budgets. We only use the highest quality equipment which ensures your favourite songs are delivered in perfect clarity and your lighting is suited to cover your entire venue.

What is your favourite?

My favourite service is our Powerful Set Up. It is the original set up we had from day one and watching it grow to what it is now makes me feel incredibly proud of myself and my business.

What is your most popular?

Our most popular is again the Powerful Set Up. The beautiful thing about this set up is that it fits in almost any venue. This package is also the best value so naturally our couples go for that one. Combined with our SelfieBox digital photobooth, the savings are huge!

How many people work with you?

My lovely fiancée, Helen is my only helper and she doesn’t always come to the bookings! So sometimes just me, but there is two of us behind the scene at all times

We work with many other suppliers in Kent to make your day special. Even a fireworks company!

Are you a recommended Supplier at any Kent Wedding Venues?

Yes, we are recommended suppliers of Whitstable Castle & Gardens and Solton Manor as well as being regular performers at Chilston Park Hotel, The Orangery at Turkey Mill, The Barnyard and many more.
