Finding Your Suppliers

Although many choose to attend Wedding Fairs to find their suppliers, we have a wedding directory full of Kent Wedding Suppliers, some with reviews from previous couples, ready to take your enquiries. They will be more than happy to talk to you on the phone or by email. Even if you can’t make concrete plans, they may be able to reserve your date for a period of time, so it’s definitely worth getting in touch with them and getting the ball rolling.

Finding a Venue

We understand that you may not want to book your Venue without seeing it, however some are offering virtual Venue tours and Video call meetings. You can also spend some time refining your Venue choices. If you are right at the beginning of your wedding planning journey, you probably have many! Enquire with the Venues about their availability for your chosen dates and look to arrange meetings once the current crisis is over.

Start Writing Vows and Speeches

As you are currently cooped up together it may not necessarily be the best time to put your feelings down on paper, but it’s worth a start. Just think about how you felt when you first met, why you’re marrying them, what they do that makes you feel happy, the times that they have comforted you, just try to think of the all the positives.

Honeymoon Planning

Although international travel is currently off limits, this doesn’t have to stop you from doing your research or even booking your honeymoon. Looking at all-inclusive resorts, with white sandy beaches and a swim up bar may actually cheer you up and give you something to look forward to (besides the wedding, of course). You can also decide what kind of honeymoon you want, whilst many go for the obvious choice I mentioned, you may also want to look at other options such as city breaks, tours or safaris.

The Guest List

If you haven’t done so already, take some time to choose and write your guest list. It’s never as easy as it seems, and you may find that you have to revise your list two or three times before you get to a reasonable (affordable) number.
