The Covid-19 Safety Signs You Need At Your Kent Wedding

Blog by Married In Kent

Making sure your wedding is “Covid-Compliant” will become the new norm. Although your wedding may look at little different than you have previously planned, you can still have an amazing celebration, whilst making sure your day is as safe as it can be.

We have put together this little blog on Safety and the Wedding Signs available to buy, so that both you and your guests have the BEST Time at your wedding!

A Hand Sanitising Station

You guests will be interacting with things at your wedding, whether it be picking up glasses for toasts, moving chairs to sit down, or shaking hands when greeting other guests. By providing your guests with a hand sanitising station at your wedding, it will make it much easier to contain any spread of germs.

Provide Gloves and Masks

You will need to let your guests know if advance is you require them to wear gloves and masks at your wedding, that way if they wish to bring their own, they can do so. However, providing a station on your guest’s arrival can be a nice touch. If you are providing disposable gloves and masks, they may need to be changed throughout the day, so you will need to make sure these are in accessible places throughout the day.

Social Distancing

It will be quite difficult to keep your guests two metres apart from people outside of their household or “social bubble” especially when the alcohol starts flowing. To keep your intentions clear you could try placing a clear sign with the social distancing rules, at the entrance of the Venue, or let them know prior to your wedding the requirements. Your guests will definitely understand, but if you’re worried about how this may come across, maybe try adding a little bit of humour to lighten the mood.
