The Oak Barn offers elegance and rural charm within Kent’s High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Nestled in a beautiful valley in rural Kent, the farm is an exclusive use wedding venue featuring three barns and six luxurious cottages located in 22 acres.
The Oak Barn, our spectacular Grade II listed threshing barn, has undergone a meticulous restoration to create a versatile and unique wedding venue that retains its wonderful historic character. The magnificent high vaulted roof, floor to ceiling glass doors and latest technology will ensure both you and the barn are beautifully lit day or night.
The Byre has classic elegance and tranquil views down the valley and across the adjacent wildlife pond and waterfall. It flows onto the terrace through a facade of glass doors overlooking our sheep field – it is the perfect place entertain your guests.
The Pole Barn, our large open fronted barn offers a more rustic style and comes complete with fairy lights and power. Used as our wood store and home to a working 1956 Fordson Major tractor, the chopped wood, original oak door from The Oak Barn and rusty decorative screens make this another unique location for nuptial vows, photographs and games within our farmyard.
Both The Oak Barn and The Byre are licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships and, we are proud not to charge corkage so you can bring in all your own alcohol and drinks with no additional charges.
Weaver’s Cottages dates from 1607 and has been lovingly refurbished to house six cottages that offer refined contemporary accommodation. Rich tones and sumptuous upholstery blend elegantly with an eclectic mix of contemporary and classically styled furnishings, and all feature full height glass windows and doors that lead into the secluded courtyard.
Beyond the gardens you have the freedom of over 20 acres for a private walk away from your party guests or photographs beside the wildlife pond and waterfall. You will love the beauty of the farm whatever the season, from the impressive barns to the lily pond and tranquil gardens.
