Greta created our Wedding Cake which, quite simply, was absolutely out of this world! We will put a link to some photographs in due course however we wanted people to know just how much Greta is one of a kind, something which a previous reviewer highlighted.

All of our Guests commented (unasked) on how delicious, moist,

succulent, juicy and rich the fruit cake was and their praise of it was genuine

and not just the platitudes you can sometimes get at weddings when people

are trying to be nice. It was really, really delicious and added to that

the way Greta arranged the fresh flowers on it was absolutely what we had envisaged

and wanted, making it a beautiful work of art to behold and gaze

upon even before cutting and biting into wedding cake heaven. We shall forever remember it as being a significant and important part of our wedding day and which contributed to the overall day turning to be completely perfect.

Greta also showed great patience and gracefulness when we had to postpone the wedding date twice due to the pandemic. The start and stops we had due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control were made so must easier by the flexibility she showed throughout.

We are incredibly grateful and appreciative of her kindness and generosity

in offering and then baking the cake again so it would be completely fresh. This was unasked for and there was no extra cost, Wow, thank you!

As readers probably realise, we obviously recommend her unreservedly and it is true to say so would all of our all guests.

It was apparently Greta baking a cake for her daughter who was five years old at the time that started her on the baking path; The Little Cake Box being the result. We would guess that

many people unknowingly owe her Daughter a huge debt of gratitude. Thank you again Greta for everything, your technical skill in baking such a delicious cake combined with the really outstanding customer service make you truly ‘one of a kind’.
