Hidden away in the Kent countryside, the Lost Village of Dode is all that is left of a former Norman church built over 900 years ago. It is an ancient and sacred building that carries so much history. It was abandoned in 1349 as a result of the Black Death sweeping the country but is now owned by Doug and Mary and run by Becky, offering couples the most unique wedding venue.

Lit purely by candlelight with a straw covered floor and all original features, it was the perfect setting for our Westeros inspired shoot combining the themes of ice and fire and including the most beautiful real wedding wolves!

While we were inspired by the characters in the TV show, our couples were not portraying particular characters, but rather the themes that they represent. We modernised the theme with the use of Mohawks and corsets from Engineers of Desire and modern bridal gowns from Pantiles Bride.

This shoot was inspired by the themes of the joining of Ice and Fire found in Game of Thrones and so we decided to depict a double wedding of an ice couple and a fire couple.
The makeup shown on the gorgeous models below could not have been more well suited to the theme!
