We gathered together on a surprisingly warm, sunny April day with a buzz. Lots of new suppliers came to Longton Wood as well as some favourites we have worked with before to create a whimsical woodland shoot.

On 17^th April a talented and inspirational bunch joined together at Longton Wood to bring together a Boho woodland chic styled shoot. The woodland was the backdrop for all foliage bouquets, button holes, crowns and garlands, a vintage campervan, naked tipi with vintage rugs and of course the most amazing drone shots by Russell.

The cake pops were delicious too!

This shoot was also the debut for the hexagon frame in the blessing area.

The incredible craftmanship of the handmade jewellery is shown in the rings worn by all the models, this was a lovely addition to the shoot.

Longton Wood is a blank canvas hire venue where you can hire the woodland for your woodland ceremony, reception and glamping! As well as all this space you get to hire the site for the weekend Friday – Sunday.

Lisa from Photography by me, approached me on Facebook on ask if we would host a styled shoot. She bought together some very talented suppliers with her. We loved the props and styled by Bay Wedding Props, including the tree trunk stumps and naked tipi. All the stunning models had their hair and make-up done off site and then travelled to the venue with their dresses. Their looks were completed with the all foliage designs from Thistle and Sprout. This was a very striking and stylish look and it worked brilliantly with the woodland backdrop. Both the Prosecco Palace and retro rides for brides campervan looked right at home amongst the trees. We had a variety of gorgeous stationary provided by Heather Corthine design which had a stylish twist on the usual woodland theme.

Sleepover tents are very on trend at the moment and its obvious why, what a fabulous and chic ay to entertain little ones. The beauty of this set up, all the kids can have their toys, entertainment and even food altogether in one place. You know what they say…..”happy children….happy parents…happy days!” or is that not a saying? Well regardless this setup brings just that!
